Organ, blood, plasma, bone marrow, sperm, and any other form of bodily donation is not comparable to pregnancy. By biological process, a mother must gestate her child. The mother and child share the mother’s organs until her child develops his or her own.
Once her child has completed his or her development within the womb, they are born. During the process of birth, the mother’s womb is naturally cleared of all gestational material along with the child it supported. All of the mother’s original organs are left behind, right where they started, for her continued use.
Bodily donation is artificially giving up something that was yours to someone else. Pregnancy is the natural function of reproduction where two or more human beings temporarily share a common body, each gaining or regaining use of their own bodies following birth.
Intentionally terminating a pregnancy is a disruption to this naturally occurring process and results in the unjustifiable death of one or more living human beings.
