Scarlet Letter

But it’s not like that. I look like I’m twelve, and at one point I had one of those fake babies to carry around… And EVERYONE judged me for it… I’m pro-life, but it’s disgusting how judgmental people are. It was literally like a scarlet letter. I think teenagers who choose to keep their children are some of the bravest in this world.

I agree, it’s not like that. That is why I work to change minds everyday. And our prenatal children need you to speak up for them as well. Changing our culture involves changing human minds. This is an incredibly difficult undertaking and it will require you and everyone like you that values human life, regardless of stage of development, to do your part.

Since you have felt the negative pressure of our culture first hand, you know exactly where to start changing it. Next time you see a pregnant teenager, walk up to her and thank her for choosing life and tell her how beautiful she is. At the very least, smile at her. Small gestures like these can make a huge difference in people’s lives.

Thank you for respecting the dignity of human life. You are an amazing person and an inspiration.
