“I believe in equal rights, except for the natives, they aren’t human like us, and they can’t even argue with us.”

“I believe in equal rights, except for the African American slaves, they aren’t human like us, and they can’t even argue with us.”

“I believe in equal rights, except for immigrants, and we won’t give them a chance to argue with us.”

“I believe in equal rights, except for Jews, they aren’t human like the Nazi master race. We won’t give them a chance to argue”

“I believe in equal rights, except for women, they lack the masculine qualities of men, can’t perform equally in the workplace like men, and they can’t argue with us.”

“I believe in equal rights, except for gays, they just aren’t natural like normal human beings, we will deny them marriage as long as possible, no matter how much they argue.”

“I believe in equal rights, except for children in the womb, they can’t argue with us anyhow. Even those who survive being aborted and grow up, will be ignored if they try to protest.”

I’m starting to see a pattern here. Every exception for equal rights is eventually overcome, history demands it.

Advocates of abortion are unwilling to acknowledge the humanity of prenatal human beings in an effort to continue their killing on demand and without apology. I suspect slaveholders felt the same way about their ‘property’ until it was explained to them under no uncertain terms.

I fear some will never accept the equal value of all human life without the application of the law and the penalties it brings to bear for harming the innocent.

A plea to win the hearts of those who choose to dehumanize our development and undermine our right to live.
