Unlikely Allies

According to blogger prochoice18, 95% of pro-choice people oppose abortions after viability. This person goes on to argue that referring to abortions after viability is irrelevant because ‘most’ happen during the first trimester because most women know immediately they don’t want that in them.

That said, it’s interesting then because if these numbers are true, even though it would be a minority of women, that 95% would themselves control the women, arguing in favor to keep late-term elective abortions illegal … thus requiring a woman to continue with the pregnancy even if she changes her mind.

I know, I know, it’s a minority of women – but when do we stop caring about the minority … instead controlling them … and taking away their right to choose?  Or is it just pro-as-long-as-you-do-it-before-viability-choice?
