From the perspective of the developing child clinging to life by his or her umbilical cord, incest is no different than any other means of conception. Incest is a societal taboo and provides no justification for killing prenatal children. As with rape, only the guilty should be punished and the innocent protected.
Human life must be jealously guarded from the moment of conception, regardless of the method of impregnation. If not, this fundamental foundation, on which all other human rights are built, begins to crumble and decay.
