I don’t understand how pro-lifers argue for forcing someone into a world that can’t take care of them. Seriously. The Earth is screaming for us to stop producing because it is maxed out on resources. If you had a baby tomorrow, he or she wouldn’t live to see their 20s. We’re not going to see what old age feels like because there won’t be a world left. And if all life is precious then you must be anti-war, anti-gun, anti-death penalty, vegan. And I doubt you are.

I’m so sorry that your outlook for life is so very pessimistic. We, as human beings, have always faced what seem to be insurmountable obstacles, yet our world continues to improve with each passing year. That may sound hard to believe, but it is absolutely true.

Human tragedy and suffering has always been with us, but we now live in the information age where we are exposed to every horrible event unfolding anywhere in the world. It can become overwhelming.

I am certain that children born today will still have a world capable of sustaining them in twenty years. We have never failed to solve our problems and improve our world.

There are usually many solutions to any given problem, some more suitable than others. Preventing pregnancy is the solution to not being pregnant, not killing prenatal children. Once conceived, that human being is just as real as you and I and has just as much a claim to life as we do.

Try to poke your head through the dark clouds surrounding your life and let the sun warm your face. Life is beautiful, some just have to try harder than others to see it.
